Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression for Disc Herniation

For the right disc patient — explained in plain language, used only when the exam supports it.

Who decompression is for

People with disc-related low-back or neck pain, sciatica, or “pinched nerve” symptoms who want a non-surgical option and who are good candidates after exam.

Symptoms we evaluate

Leg pain, numbness or tingling, pain with sitting, or neck pain with arm symptoms. Not every shooting pain is a disc. That is why the exam comes first.

How the DOC table works

The FDA-cleared DOC table applies a measured stretch and release to the spine. The goal is to reduce pressure on the affected disc segment and calm irritated nerves so you can move and rehab. We will show you the table and the setup before you start.

What a visit includes

Positioning, a timed decompression session, and the other care in your plan (adjustment, massage therapy where offered, or home work) when indicated.

Who is not a candidate

Certain fractures, infections, severe osteoporosis, some surgical hardware, pregnancy, and other findings we will screen for. If you are not a candidate, we will say so and talk about other options.

Decompression FAQ

Is this surgery?
No.
How many visits?
Depends on the disc and your response. We review at set points rather than selling an endless package.
Does insurance cover it?
Sometimes. We check before we build the plan around it.
