New Patient Exam. No Packages. No Pressure.

Dr. Mac and Dr. Abi spend 45 minutes with you on your first visit — not 5. They find the root cause, tell you the truth, and build a plan that fits your life. If they can't help you, they'll tell you that too.

What happens in your first 45 minutes at Prime Spine & Wellness?

Your first visit at Prime Spine & Wellness is 45 minutes. Dr. Mac or Dr. Abi takes a full health history, runs orthopedic and neurological tests, screens your posture and range of motion, and — if imaging is clinically warranted — tells you before any X-ray is taken. You leave with a clear answer and a plan. No prepay packages. No high-pressure pitch. Transparent pricing — all costs discussed before treatment.

0–15 min: We listen

Your first visit starts with a conversation. Where does it hurt? When did it start? What have you already tried? What does your life look like when you're not in pain? This isn't a 5-minute intake — we take time to understand what's actually going on.

15–30 min: We assess

Orthopedic tests, neurological screening, posture analysis, range-of-motion measurement. We tell you what we find, in plain English, before we touch anything. If imaging is clinically indicated, you know before it's taken.

30–45 min: We give you an answer

You leave knowing what is causing your pain — not "come back for 20 visits and we'll see." Your care plan is tied to your diagnosis, not a preset package. Some patients resolve in 4 visits. Others need longer. You'll know the honest estimate after your exam.

45–60 min: First treatment (if appropriate)

If it makes clinical sense, we begin treatment at your first visit. That may include adjustments, soft-tissue work, or specific exercises — based on what we found, not a protocol we apply to everyone.

Total time: 45–60 minutes. No referral needed. Walk-ins welcome when slots are open.

What conditions do chiropractors treat in Fort Worth?

From acute injuries to pain that has been there for years, Dr. Mac and Dr. Abi treat a wide range of conditions at their Fort Worth and Saginaw clinics.

Lower Back Pain

The pain that won't stay gone. Herniated discs, lumbar misalignment, chronic ache, and the 4-day relief cycle that other clinics never fix.

Neck Pain & Tech Neck

Your desk is breaking your neck. Whiplash, forward head posture, cervicogenic headaches — addressed with a safety-first protocol.

Sciatica

Lava in your calf. White-hot pain down your leg. Flexion-distraction (Cox technique) and spinal decompression get to the source.

Auto Accident Injuries

Whiplash, soft-tissue damage, nerve compression from collisions on I-30, I-35W, and I-20. We coordinate with your attorney and bill PIP or Med Pay.

Veterans Care

Dr. Mac is a veteran. He understands service-connected injuries and sees patients without the high-pressure clinic experience that drives most vets away.

Prenatal & Pediatric

Dr. Abi is Webster Certified and a mom. She sees pregnant patients and babies — gently, carefully, and with full explanation before every technique.

If you're nervous about chiropractic — read this first.

Three objections show up in almost every new patient conversation. Dr. Mac and Dr. Abi have heard them all. Here is the honest answer to each.

"Chiropractors cause strokes." Vertebral artery dissection from cervical manipulation is rare — estimated at roughly 1 in 1–5 million cervical manipulations. At Prime Spine & Wellness, every patient is screened for cervical risk factors before any neck adjustment. You are told what will happen and can decline at any time. Low-force alternatives (Activator method, drop-table, mobilization) are always on the table.

"It's pseudoscience." The NIH, the American Chiropractic Association, and Mayo Clinic all recognize spinal manipulation as a first-line, evidence-supported treatment for mechanical low back pain. 35 million Americans use chiropractic care annually. Named techniques — Cox flexion-distraction, Gonstead, Activator, spinal decompression — have clinical literature behind them.

"They'll sign me up for a $4,500 package." We won't. Your care plan comes after your diagnosis, not before it. Transparent pricing — all costs are discussed upfront. If you don't need ongoing care, we'll tell you. If we can't help you, we'll refer you to someone who can.

Frequently Asked Questions About Chiropractic Care in Fort Worth

What happens at a first chiropractor visit at Prime Spine & Wellness?
Your first visit is 45 minutes. Dr. Mac or Dr. Abi takes a full health history, runs orthopedic and neurological tests, screens posture and range of motion, and tells you before any X-ray is taken. You leave with a clear answer and a plan. All costs discussed upfront. No prepay packages.
How much does a first visit cost?
A first visit at Prime Spine & Wellness includes a full consultation, orthopedic and neurological testing, posture and range-of-motion screening, and a treatment recommendation from Dr. Mac or Dr. Abi. All costs are discussed upfront — no hidden fees, no prepay packages. Most major insurance plans are accepted.
Is chiropractic safe?
Chiropractic care is safe when performed by a trained practitioner with proper screening. At Prime Spine & Wellness, all cervical adjustments are preceded by contraindication screening. Patients can decline any adjustment at any time. Low-force alternatives are always available. The NIH, Mayo Clinic, and the American Chiropractic Association all recognize spinal manipulation as an evidence-supported treatment for low back and neck pain.
Do chiropractors actually help with back pain?
Yes. Spinal manipulation for low back pain is one of the most-studied non-surgical interventions in medicine. Studies published through the NIH and cited by the American Chiropractic Association show that 85% of mechanical lower back pain cases respond well to chiropractic care within 4 to 6 weeks. That said, not every case is the same — Dr. Mac and Dr. Abi will tell you honestly after your exam whether chiropractic is the right fit for your specific situation.
Do I need to come back forever?
No. At Prime Spine & Wellness, your care plan is tied to your diagnosis, not a preset schedule. Some patients resolve their problem in 4 to 6 visits. Others with chronic or complex conditions benefit from periodic maintenance — but that is always your decision. You get a realistic, honest timeline after your first exam.
What techniques does Prime use?
Dr. Mac and Dr. Abi use Diversified, Thompson Drop, Activator, Gonstead, flexion-distraction (Cox technique), spinal decompression, soft-tissue therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, and Webster technique (prenatal and pediatric). The technique used depends on your specific condition — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Do I need X-rays on my first visit?
Not automatically. X-rays are ordered only when clinically indicated — recent trauma, significant nerve symptoms, or a history of bone conditions. You are always told before any imaging is taken, and you can decline. Prime Spine & Wellness does not require X-rays as a routine condition of care.

What patients say after their first visit

I was skeptical about chiropractic care, but my headaches were unbearable. Dr. Mac explained everything so clearly and made me feel comfortable. He took the time to walk me through the plan and never made me feel rushed. The whole team is warm and welcoming — it's like visiting friends who actually listen.
As a construction worker, I put my body through a lot. Dr. Mac understands the physical demands of my job and tailors my treatments accordingly. I can work a full day without pain for the first time in years.
After a car accident, I had constant neck pain and headaches. The care I received here was incredible — not just the adjustments, but the genuine concern for my wellbeing. They worked with my insurance and my attorney and made the whole process stress-free.
